UK Users of CAE Tools – More Data Now Available!
For years Business Advantage has supplied thoroughly researched data on CAD or CAM users from our unique CAD/CAM User Site Database. The database is ever evolving. We pride ourselves on keeping not just the company, site and contact details updated every six months, but in responding to the needs of CAD/CAM vendors and their partners in terms of information they need about the market. We continually seek to add new sites to the database, and add new information about existing sites held.
A couple of years ago, in recognition of the rapid growth of the CAE tools market, we began building a database of UK CFD and FEA users. The number of sites we now have using these tools stands at 1,285 and is still growing.
If you would like to know who is using CAE tools (the sample below details the number of sites not users, and of course some sites may use multiple packages), or who uses CAD but DOESN’T use CAE tools, Business Advantage can help. The data is available for annual license, including free updates for the first year, or rent for a one off campaign. Please contact Business Advantage for a data count and quotation – or just to discuss!

Business Advantage has, what is widely regarded as, the definitive database of CAD/CAM users in the UK. Containing information on some 40,000 senior decision makers (with more than 33,000 email addresses) in some 15,000 individual sites with 110,000 CAD users, the CAD/CAM User Site Database opens the door to increased business for those targeting the CAD market.
*Business Advantage do not represent the UK CAD/CAM User Site Database as being the universe of CAD/CAM sites in the UK; nor are the individual category counts such as industry sector, employee size, CAD seat size, application usage, etc., intended to be proportionately representative of the incidence as found in the universe. Thus, care must be exercised in looking at percentage figures - these are not presented as percentages of national usage, merely percentages based on the counts on our database and are for indicative purposes only.
